UPDATE: COVID-19 important notice

Following the latest updates in connection with the entry into force of the orders of the Government of the Russian Federation of March 18, 2020 No. 635 -r; of March 25,2020 No. 730 -r; of April 29, 2020 No.1170-r  starting from 00:00 of 18 March 2020 until a date to be defined yet in order to ensure state security, protect public health and avoid the extension of a new coronavirus infection in the Russian Federation,  the Operating Committee on the prevention of coronavirus in Russia has established the temporary suspension in all diplomatic offices and consular offices of the Russian Federation, including consular department of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Finland, of the activities of document acceptance, registration and issue to foreign citizens and persons without citizenship of all categories of visas, with the exception of diplomatic visas, service visas, ordinary business visas for the crews of aircraft, sea and river ships, for railway brigades and locomotives of international railway communication, for those who are involved in the commissioning and maintenance of foreign-made equipment, specified in the list sent to the Federal Security Service of Russian Federation by the federal executive authority in whose jurisdiction runs over the organization  – the customer of equipment of foreign production; of private visas to close relatives of Russian citizens. 

The emission of electronic visas has been temporary suspended.
